Amanda is the Curriculum Director at the ECC.She works individually with teachers to provide support on curriculum integration, creates programming for classrooms that fuses STEAM with everyday learning and Judaism, and works directly with students to provide STEAM experiences. Amanda has been with The J for two years.Prior to that, she worked in independent Jewish Day School education and developed community and educational programming after a biological sciences career. Amanda graduated from The University of North Florida with a M.A. in Biology. She has also completed Leadership Training at Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management in Nonprofit Leadership. Amanda has two children that also love coming to The J, and in their spare time, they love kayaking and hiking, participating in arts and playing a little Nintendo.
