Dylan Abrams

 Dylan is the Assistant Director of Youth + Camp Services. In his role, Dylan assists with all things Shemesh Camp and is the main point person for after-school and out-of-school programming during the school year, including Club J After Care, Youth Enrichments, School’s Out Camps, and Kids Night Out programming. He came onto The J team full time after an amazing summer teaching Mindfulness and PJ Library programming at Shemesh Camp. He has more than a decade of experience working with youth, ranging in age from Pre-K to high school. He was most recently a Hebrew Teacher and Middle School Advisor at Pardes Jewish Day School and served as the Hebrew Program Coordinator at Temple Chai Religious School. He has extensive experience leading weekend retreats and Shabbatonim as well. Dylan has a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism & Mass Communication from Arizona State University and a Master’s Degree in Education from Gratz College. He is a strong believer in creating a nurturing and inclusive environment where all children feel safe and seen.
