Each month, we come together to share experiences, gain valuable insights, and learn practical tips for improving daily life.

    Advances in Parkinson’s Care: Biomarkers, Wellness, and Treatment Options

    Join us for an informative presentation with Dr. Mahant, a board-certified neurologist specializing in movement disorders at Foothills Neurology, PC. Dr. Mahant will discuss evolving approaches to Parkinson’s disease care, including the role of wellness strategies, emerging biomarker diagnostics, and advanced therapies such as deep brain stimulation.
    Dr. Mahant completed her medical degree at Medical College of Pennsylvania, her neurology residency at University of Rochester, and a fellowship in movement disorders at Barrow Neurological Institute at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center. She has been involved in research with the Parkinson’s Study Group, the Arizona Parkinson’s Disease Consortium, and the Center for Adaptive Neural Systems.

    In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Mahant serves as Director of Medical Affairs at CND Life Sciences, where she helps advance education on biomarker testing for Parkinson’s disease and related disorders. She is also an Assistant Clinical Professor in Neurology at the University of Arizona and is committed to training the next generation of physicians.

    This program will provide valuable insights for individuals living with Parkinson’s disease, care partners, and anyone interested in learning about the latest developments in diagnosis, treatment, and comprehensive care.
