Baderech
Baderech, meaning “on the way” in Hebrew, is a new J Youth experience for 5th and 6th graders as a “stepping stone” to independent membership.
At Baderech, You Choose!
Students get to choose how they spend their afternoon at The J, be it on the basketball court, playing pickleball, or hanging out in the Moadon (Tween & Teen Lounge).
Students also participate in formal programming at least once a week with a focus on life skills and rooted in Jewish values.
Quality Is Our Priority!
- Safety First: All youth staff undergo thorough background checks, hold CPR, First Aid, and Stop the Bleed certifications, and possess fingerprint clearance cards. They receive ongoing training to ensure top-notch care.
- Supervision: Baderech students are monitored throughout the day by a counselor over the age of 18. While not directly supervised by the counselor, the counselor checks in on students throughout the afternoon and is available to assist students as necessary.
- Purposeful Activities: Our programs focus on building social skills, decision-making, inclusivity, and personal growth.
- Top-Notch Amenities: Enjoy 2 indoor basketball courts, a playground, ninja course, outdoor pickleball court, Olympic-sized pool, Gaga Pit, Moadon (Tween & Teen Lounge), and more.
