Baderech
Baderech, meaning “on the way” in Hebrew, is a new J Youth experience for 5th and 6th graders as a “stepping stone” to independent membership.
At Baderech, You Choose!
Students get to choose how they spend weekdays 3-6pm at The J, be it on the basketball court, playing pickleball, or hanging out in the Moadon (Tween & Teen Lounge).
Students also have options throughout the year to participate in more formal programming with a focus on life skills, rooted in Jewish values.
Quality Is Our Priority!
- Safety First: All youth staff undergo thorough background checks, hold CPR, First Aid, and Stop the Bleed certifications, and possess fingerprint clearance cards. They receive ongoing training to ensure top-notch care.
- Supervision: Baderech students are monitored throughout the day by a counselor over the age of 18. While not directly supervised by the counselor, the counselor checks in on students throughout the afternoon and is available to assist students as necessary.
- Purposeful Activities: Our programs focus on building social skills, decision-making, inclusivity, and personal growth.
- Top-Notch Amenities: Enjoy 2 indoor basketball courts, a playground, ninja course, outdoor pickleball court, Olympic-sized pool, Gaga Pit, Moadon (Tween & Teen Lounge), and more.
