Carson Porter is the Aquatics Manager at the Valley of the Sun J. In his role, Carson oversees the Jill and Lee Weiss Swim Academy, supporting all aspects of program development and daily operations while serving as a point of contact for families and staff. He also coordinates lifeguard certification courses and contributes to community-focused initiatives, including drowning prevention programming. Carson joined The J team after gaining experience in communications and program coordination. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications with an emphasis in Broadcasting and New Media from Grand Canyon University and is passionate about creating a safe, welcoming environment where every swimmer can build confidence and lifelong skills.
