Mary Passell is the Director of Curriculum and Teacher Support at the ECC. She comes to us with over ten years in administrative leadership for early childhood and elementary programs across the Valley. Mary has a BS in Family Studies and Child Development from the University of Arizona, an elementary teaching certificate from Arizona State University, and a Masters in Jewish Educational Leadership from Hebrew Union College. Mary has also been AMS certified in 3-6 yr old Montessori education. She is an alumni of the JECELI (Jewish Early Childhood Education Leadership Institute) Cohort 3 and is trained in Mindfulness Meditation. Mary has presented on Mindfulness for educators and young children at various conferences, including “Mindfulness for Educators” at the ECE-RJ Peace in our Time conference. Mary has been married for over 20 years and has two children. In her spare time, she loves practicing yoga, snuggling with her pups, paddleboarding, and listening to live music.
