Think your team has what it takes to conquer the desert? The Desert Duel is a semi competitive/intermediate level team-based pickleball league built for players who love competition, camaraderie, and a little friendly rivalry.
Grab your partner, build your team, and get ready for intense rallies, big dinks, clutch points, and bragging rights! Teams will battle it out throughout the season with the ultimate goal of being crowned Desert Duel Champions.

Join the Valley Legends, a fun and competitive 55+ Pickleball League designed for players who love good competition, great rallies, and even better company. This round-robin league keeps things fresh as you rotate partners and opponents throughout the season, giving you the chance to play with and against a variety of players.

Fun, hands-on enrichment classes develop essential skills for academic, social and emotional growth.

Join us for the Jewish Film Lover’s Club, an in-person film discussion group exploring this year’s theme of ethical dilemmas in international Jewish cinema. Participants will watch selected films at home and gather at The J for engaging, interactive, and thought-provoking discussions. Participants may choose to join the group for dinner at The J before each discussion. Dinner reservations can be made when RSVPing for each session. Individual checks will be provided.

* One newly released film to be screened at the Greater Phoenix Jewish Film Festival (festival tickets purchased separately)
Films will be available through various streaming services, with most requiring only a minimal rental fee. Participants will receive movie titles and RSVP deadlines via email prior to each discussion date.

Join the Desert Divas, an all-women’s pickleball league built for fun, competition, and plenty of great rallies. Get ready for friendly competition, rotating matchups, big laughs, and even bigger dinks as you battle it out with your fellow Desert Divas! This is an intermediate level based league.
New to pickleball or still getting comfortable with the basics? This 8-week instructional league is the perfect way to learn, improve, and have fun in a supportive environment.
The first few weeks will focus on instruction and skill development, covering the fundamentals of pickleball including serving, returning, dinking, scoring, positioning, and court strategy. Once you’ve built your confidence and skills, the second half of the season shifts into game play, giving you the opportunity to put everything you’ve learned into action.
This is the space for dads looking to connect, de-stress, get fit, and thrive.
