The American Red Cross Lifeguarding Instructor course equips participants with the skills and knowledge to teach lifeguards to prevent, recognize, and respond to aquatic emergencies, as well as provide care until EMS arrives. Those who successfully complete the course will earn an American Red Cross Instructor certificate for Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED, which is valid for 2 years.

Up to date American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification
Cost and Refund Policy:
Cost $400 per class
Full refunds are available with 30 day's written notice.
A 50% refund is available with less than 30 days' written notice, or full credit can be transferred to another open class.
Instructor candidates who are new to teaching students in courses like those offered by the Red Cross must meet the following criteria:
Successfully complete the online course prior to an in-person skills session
Successfully complete the in-person skills session
Prior to teaching your first class, an Instructor must become affiliated with or become a Red Cross Training Provider with a signed agreement to teach classes, report Red Cross courses taught and issue certificates.
