At Valley of the Sun J, we believe our community is at its very strongest when we’re all together. Our community has the unique ability to ensure everyone feels as though they’re part of The J family. That they belong. Regardless of financial means.
When you give to SMILE, your donation provides financial aid, reducing fees, for community members within the Alison Hendeles Early Childhood Center, afterschool programs, Shemesh Day Camp, adult and Parkinson’s programming, membership, and more.
Your contribution ensures The J never turns anyone away due to financial hardship, and can provide high-quality, life changing, programming and services to those who may need them most.
Your Impact
- $10,000 provides two children with one year of preschool at the Alison Hendeles Early Childhood Center
- $5,000 provides three children the opportunity to attend one week of Shemesh Day Camp
- $2,500 provides young adults, families, seniors and our Heroes with reduced costs for yearly membership fees
- $1,000 provides a child with one week of holiday camp during a school break
- $500 provides walking poles for participants in The Harold and Jean Grossman Parkinson’s Walking Club
- $250 provides a child the chance to play in the Jeff Berkowitz Youth Basketball League
- $100 provides a young adult with one month of membership
