All I can say is WOW and thank you, as your usage of Valley of the Sun J has really been incredible! In the pool, classes, Pickleball, basketball, individual workouts and more, whether you have been with us for a while, or are new to The J, we can only say thank you! It’s great to see everyone each day!
Our first Summer Splash pool party was rocking last Sunday with over 250 in attendance and over 450 hot dogs consumed. Our next two Splashes are June 8 and our Red, White and Pool celebration set for June 29. The fun is always from 11am-1pm. RSVP here.
With Shemesh Day Camp getting ready to start this Tuesday, let’s talk a little about the parking lot. Please remember lots of people (including a ton of kids) walk in the lot.
So:
- Please stay off your phone when driving in and out of the parking lot.
- STOP signs are there for a reason. Please STOP unless we’re directing traffic and waving you through.
- If we’re directing traffic, please adhere to what we’re asking you to do. Our goal is to get you in and out of the parking lot as safely and efficiently as possible.
- When backing out of a parking spot, please use your mirrors to ensure the car next to you does not have doors open, people standing, etc.
- And please remember that during camp the Sweetwater entrance/exit is closed from 8:30- 9:30am and 3:30-4:30pm weekdays.
Registration for our (next school year) Club J afterschool program is open and going strong. With some incredible new enrichment classes, it’ll be a little different and better than ever. For information, email Dylan here.

The annual J Gala is set for Saturday, December 13, at the Arizona Biltmore. The recipients of the William S. Levine Family Community Excellence Award are Rachel and Jonathan Hoffer. With amazing honorees, incredible entertainment and lots of extras, it’ll be a great, great night. The event is chaired by Sara Schneider and Ben Myers.
